Knock-Down Rebuild
Build your dream home in the location you already love
Why Knock-Down Rebuild?
'Knock down rebuilds' are ideal for those who prefer building a dream home in a great location they already live rather than renovating.
A knock down rebuild project at your current address can bring numerous advantages. Not only will you sidestep the hassles of moving, but you'll also avoid unexpected expenses that often come with renovations. With Homes by CMA, you have the opportunity to select a flexible design tailored to your land's dimensions and orientation, maximising space and delivering a home that precisely meets your needs.
When undertaking a knockdown rebuild (KDRB) project, the existing dwelling is demolished or removed from the site and replaced with a completely new home. Knockdown rebuilds are particularly suitable for property owners situated in desirable areas who prefer to construct their ideal home from the ground up, rather than renovating an existing structure. Some areas of Brisbane are located withing Character Zones meaning these existing dwellings cannot be knocked down or relocated to keep the aesthetics of the neighbourhood.

The Benefits of Knock-Down Rebuild
Opting to sell and relocate can be a significant and costly disruption for the entire family. Purchasing a newly constructed property in your area often comes with a hefty price tag. Similarly, renovating or extending an outdated home can incur substantial costs, with the added risk of unwelcome surprises along the renovation journey.
Stay Where You Love
Keep your established neighborhood, schools, and community connections while enjoying a brand new home designed for modern living.
No Compromise
Unlike renovations, you won't need to compromise on design or work around existing structures. Build exactly what you want from the ground up.
Better Value
Often more cost-effective than major renovations, with the added benefits of modern energy efficiency, lower maintenance, and increased property value.
