INITIAL MEETING & QUOTE

Receive an obligation-free quote for your new home by meeting with a consultant at a display home or making an appointment with a mobile consultant. The quote includes site costs and any requested items.

PRELIMINARY AGREEMENT & INITIAL DEPOSIT

Sign your Preliminary Agreement & pay the initial deposit*

Your New Home Consultant will submit your design requirements and land details to our internal drafting team to prepare your preliminary plans and continue to fine tune your inclusions.

PRELIMINARY PLANS

Your New Home Consultant will present your Preliminary Plans which you will work together to finetune until you have finalised all the structural changes to be made.

TENDER MEETING

Once the final structural changes have been decided your Tender Plans will be prepared.

Our Tender Plans are very detailed and include additional pages, such as Site Plan, Landscaping Plan, Driveway Plan, Floor Plan, Elevations, Electrical Plan, Flooring Plan, Joinery Detail & 3D Renders

FINAL AMENDMENTS & COLOUR SELECTION

Final amendments will be made to your contract plans. Your colour selection appointment will be booked at the CMA Design Studio. Our Interior Design Team will send you selection information and look books.

Once you approve the colour selection, your home will be submitted for Covenant approval & Energy Efficiency approval.

CONTRACT SIGNING

You are now ready to meet with the Contract Team to review your final contract plans, colours and inclusions. Any questions and changes will be discussed at this meeting.

Your building contract documentation will then be finalised ready for you to sign.

The 5% contract deposit is will now be due.

BUILDING APPROVAL

Homes by CMA will prepare your plans and final engineering and lodge them for building approval with our private certifier.

Please provide CMA with your finance approval & proof of land ownership at this time.

BUILD JOURNEY

We have received your approved plan. Your lender will supply you with the Authority to Commence Construction letter which you need to provide to HOMES by CMA. We can now start building your dream home.

The building approval process typically takes 2-4 weeks after contract signing. This includes preparing final engineering documents and submitting them to our private certifier. Timing may vary based on local council requirements.
